Two years ago in May 2012, Joseph Endler posted a video to YouTube of himself riding down a hill in a cart at Catlin Gabel. Then, two weeks ago towards the end of September, he received some recognition.
“I was browsing YouTube when I get this message from [LaunchPad Entertainment LLC.] saying they want to buy one of my videos,” Endler remarked. “So I call them and they said they want to give me 100 dollars for my video.”
LaunchPad Entertainment is a small company that purchases video licensing from various users on YouTube and other sites. They have collected a database of videos that other companies can pay them to use.
Now that Endler’s video is part of the collection, every time a company wants to use his video, Endler makes 30% of the money from it.
The video is only ten seconds long, and it features Endler being pushed down a hill in a cart, and eventually falling and rolling over.

That’s really funny! Congratulations to him!
