A Day in the Life of the Barn

By Nico Hamacher '15

As many Catlin Gabel students start to get ready for school at 7 a.m., the Barn is already abuzz. The walk-in fridge is emptied, food for the day is separated out, the day’s snack is prepared, shelves are stocked, and a semi-truck arrives with fresh products.

Though most Catlin Gabel students enjoy the products sold in the Barn, few recognize the energy and time that goes into the food offered there. CatlinSpeak has attempted to give community members a better understanding of how the Barn functions through this photo essay.
