As winter comes to a close, and with it another sports season, comes to a close, Catlin Gabel prepares for spring. During the spring sports season, Catlin Gabel offers tennis, track and field, baseball and golf.

Students from all grades and from any skill level are encouraged to take advantage of the no- cut policy for all of Catlin Gabel athletics. This policy guarantees them a spot on either a varsity or junior-varsity level team.

“I know this is going to be a big year for the tennis program. Players have put in countless hours of work to get where they are today,” said Ian McClanan ’16, one of the boys tennis captains.

“Playing sports in the spring is the best time, the weather is getting nicer, and everyone seems to come out and try out for a sport,” added Sam Schrott ’16, another boys tennis player.

It’s still not too late to join a spring sport, so contact Sandy Luu (luus@catlin.edu) or one of the tennis, track and field, baseball or golf captains about joining. This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport, have fun with new and old friends, and stay fit.
