I love the water, I wanted to be an oceanographer.

Salt and Straw. Love the Salted Caramel Ice Cream!

Right now, it’s Give Pizza A Chance.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
In the spring, I got my anniversary date wrong while a news camera was rolling and my wife was sitting right next to me. Whoops.
What’s your best memory of your time in Portland?
There are too many to pick just one: marrying my wife Nancy in the Chinese Garden, getting elected to the City Council, watching my kids Andy, Gavin, and Katelyn graduate from high school and every bike ride on the Springwater Corridor.
