Last week, students dressed up enthusiastically for the five spirit days that led up to the Homecoming soccer games on Friday and the dance on Saturday.
This year, we kicked off the week with Decade Day on Monday, where we saw students dressed in styles belonging to decades ranging from the 1850s to the 2000s. Though last Tuesday was especially cold, many students braved the weather dressed in only a bed sheet for Toga Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Catlin student body transformed into a flock of tacky American tourists, pairing sandals with socks, and Hawaiian shirts with fanny packs and visors. We concluded the week with two of Catlin’s traditional spirit days: Class Colors on Thursday and Catlin Spirit on Friday.
Over the weekend, the student body voted for who they thought showed the most spirit throughout the week. Congratulations to our Homecoming King, sophomore Elliot Lewis, and Kassi Carter-Howard ’13, our Homecoming Queen.
